Senior Sales Systems Analyst - Sales Tools
role at Samsara Base pay range $79,432.50/yr - $106,800.00/yr Who We Are
Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform that enables organizations that depend on physical operations to harness Internet of Things (IoT) data to develop actionable insights and improve their operations. Samsara helps improve the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the physical operations that power our global economy across industries including agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing. Working at Samsara means you’ll help define the future of physical operations and be on a team shaping product solutions such as Video-Based Safety, Vehicle Telematics, Apps and Driver Workflows, Equipment Monitoring, and Site Visibility. You’ll have autonomy and support to make an impact as we build for the long term. About the role
The Senior Sales Tools Analyst will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Samsara’s sales technology stack to ensure our sellers can operate efficiently and effectively. This role combines day-to-day administration, technical configuration, and pilot/project support for new tool rollouts. You will partner closely with Sales, RevOps, Enablement, IT, and other cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, well-integrated tools that enhance the seller experience and support revenue growth. This role is open to candidates residing in the US except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area. You should apply if: You want to impact the industries that run our world: your efforts will result in real-world impact—helping to keep the lights on, get food into grocery stores, and ensure workers return home safely. You have an innate curiosity about how businesses work: you may meet with someone in waste management or learn about a food distribution center. You build genuine relationships with your customers: our customers value earned trust and human relationships built over time. You want to be with the best: Samsara’s high-performance culture challenges you to go farther. You are a team player: sales is a team sport at Samsara; we share best practices and win as a team. In this role, you will: Administer and configure core sales tools such as Salesforce CRM, SalesLoft, CPQ, DocuSign, Conga, Gong, and Highspot, including user profiles, permissions, workflows, automations, and data integrity maintenance. Provide advanced troubleshooting and support, investigate complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes; escalate systemic issues to IT, Engineering, or vendors where needed. Support pilots and rollouts of new tools and features, coordinating technical setup, configuration, UAT, and feedback collection to ensure smooth adoption. Oversee integrations and data flows between sales tools, CRM, and adjacent business systems; monitor sync errors, troubleshoot integration issues, and partner with IT or vendors on new connections. Ensure governance and compliance across all sales technologies by maintaining accurate license inventories, managing provisioning, and adhering to security and data handling protocols. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Enablement, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure tools are reliable, well-integrated, and aligned with sales policies and corporate governance. Contribute to seller experience and efficiency by delivering scalable, thoughtful enhancements without always relying on consultants or external resources. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices. Minimum requirements for the role: 3–5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Tools Administration. At least 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration/configuration. Hands-on configuration experience with major sales tools beyond CRM (e.g., SalesLoft, CPQ, Conga, Docusign, ZoomInfo, etc). Strong understanding of CRM concepts, sales workflows, and SaaS selling motions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into effective tool configurations. Comfort collaborating with cross-functional teams and balancing multiple priorities. An ideal candidate also has: Salesforce Administrator certification (or equivalent). Experience with tool integrations and APIs. Exposure to project management in a Sales Operations or RevOps context. Background supporting tool rollouts, pilots, and change management initiatives.
