Overview As a BlueHalo Systems Engineer in our Space RF Systems group, you will be a key member of an integrated team operating in a dynamic environment. You will help develop techniques, systems, subsystems, and design elements required to implement next generation digital beamforming systems for military applications. You will work across multiple engineering disciplines to help define requirements, build system architectures, and provide overall systems engineering support for multiple programs. Key Responsibilities

Define system/subsystem requirements within the systems team to ensure an achievable design.

Communicate effectively with software/firmware engineers, mechanical and electrical design engineers, and engineering analysts.

Flow system/subsystem level requirements to different engineering teams using the JAMA requirements management tool.

Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to achieve system design, integration, SIL integration, and off-site tests.

Support failure investigation using structured problem-solving techniques and document troubleshooting; communicate and implement resolutions.

Coordinate with the Systems Test Team to ensure proper Verification and Validation (V&V) methodology and execution.

Support the generation and execution of the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP).

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation (test plans, ICDs, system models, etc.).

Required Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics with >4 years of experience OR Master’s degree in Engineering or Physics with >2 years of experience.

Experience in RF System design, Verification, and Validation.

Experience specifying, allocating, and deriving requirements.

Experience with integration and test plans as well as system-level ICDs.

Ability to obtain a US DoD Secret and Top-Secret clearance with an SCI designation (US citizenship required).

Preferred Education And Experience

At least 3 years Systems Engineering experience.

Experience with Phased Array Antenna design.

Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Experience with Requirements Management (JAMA), MBSE (Cameo), Data Processing (Matlab and Python), and Configuration Management (Arena).

Salary Range $130,000 – $170,000
