Job Description: TRCTalent is working alongside a rapidly growing EV battery manufacturer in Byhalia, Mississippi as they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr SAP Architect - Procurement, Logistics & Warehouse to join our team.
As an Sr SAP Architect - Procurement, Logistics & Warehouse, you will architect, design, document and implement comprehensive warehouse management and procure-to-pay (P2P) solutions on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba. Your mission is to develop integrated architectures that connect manufacturing operations, provide real-time visibility and align with enterprise systems, enabling next- digital manufacturing and supply-chain efficiency. Quality Management (QM) knowledge is a plus but is not the primary focus. This is a fully onsite role.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and design end-to-end logistics and procurement processes—including warehousing, sourcing, purchasing and supplier collaboration—leveraging SAP best practices and extensibility. Define and document integrated process blueprints spanning SAP EWM, MM, LE, Ariba and supplier-quality solutions to cover the entire inbound-to-pay lifecycle. Translate functional requirements into system architecture using SAP BTP, CPI and other integration patterns, ensuring scalability and maintainability. Design, configure and implement warehouse solutions covering put-away, picking, staging, handling-unit management, RF/barcoding and integration with ASRS/AGVs. Document and implement transportation interfaces using SAP TM or external solutions to enable efficient inbound and outbound logistics. Own the architecture, design, documentation and implementation of P2P solutions using SAP MM and SAP Ariba modules (Buying, Invoicing, SLP, SCC). Enable supplier-portal capabilities for onboarding, sourcing and compliance documentation, and integrate risk analytics as needed. Support vendor evaluation and non-conformance reporting; knowledge of SAP QM and inspection processes is beneficial, but not the primary focus. Participate in design authority and change-control boards, ensuring consistent documentation and governance across cross-functional delivery. Mentor and support team members. Oversee the creation of thorough business process documentation to capture designs, configurations and custom developments. Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies—such as AI/ML-driven quality analytics, IoT-enabled warehouse operations and supplier risk analytics—into solution designs. Integrate external platforms (3PL systems, MES, SCADA, Ariba) using APIs and SAP Cloud Platform Integration, and document integration architectures. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field required. 10+ years of experience in SAP logistics and warehouse management, with deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA MM, LE, EWM and SAP Ariba. Proven ability to architect, design, document and implement integrated solutions across SAP and non-SAP systems, including MES, 3PL providers, supplier portals and warehouse automation. Demonstrated leadership in greenfield implementations or global rollouts of supply-chain solutions. Familiarity with SAP Activate, agile/hybrid delivery methodologies and cross-functional stakeholder engagement. Experience with IQC, sampling procedures and SAP QM is desirable. Skills
