Our client is a leader in the Mechanical Construction + Construction Services industry, bringing talented Mechanical, Electric and Plumbing resources to large-scale construction projects. They are consolidating several IT resources into a single centralized organization and moving from current Enterprise Reporting solutions to a cloud-based Data & Analytics approach. They will leverage Azure SQL and Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, etc. It is a small IT department ( Responsibilities
Architect and support scalable data solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure + Fabric Lead the design and development of ETL/ELT processes Engage/collaborate with Finance, Operations to identify needs, establish KPIs and translate them into dashboards, reports and technical solutions Develop, manage and optimize Power BI reports + dashboards Establish best practices around data governance, security and compliance issues Oversee Data Quality Management, metadata documentation and process improvements Monitor system performance, database tuning and query optimization Qualifications
US Citizen or Green Card Holder (Absolute MUST!) Data Modeling and Data Warehouse design background Extensive Azure SQL database / data warehouse experience Strong ETL/ELT development - pulling data from CRM, ERP, etc sources Analytics for financial operations (Financial reporting standards, processes, etc.) Preferred experience
Mechanical Construction (HVAC, Electrical, Industrial Plumbing) and/or Construction Service industry background Experience implementing data governance, data security and compliance practices Employment details
