Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management. Provides direct documentation, communication, and technical editing support to the PMA 213 program office. Develops, revises, and maintains program documentation, acquisition products, and technical materials to support the successful execution of the program across all phases of the Defense Acquisition System. Over 5 years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description, with at least 3 of those years in support of NAVAIR Programs - performing Acquisition management, technical, or business case analyses and collecting, completing, organizing and interpreting data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. Desired Experience
Prepare, edit, and maintain technical documentation, acquisition deliverables, and programmatic reports in accordance with NAVAIR and DoD standards. Support drafting and reviewing of Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Interface Design Descriptions (IDDs) specific specifications, test plans, and program schedules. Translate engineering and program data into clear, concise technical content suitable for technical, managerial, and fleet audiences. Ensure compliance with Navy/DoD documentation requirements, formatting, and style guides. Maintain version control and configuration management of all program documents using approved systems. Collaborate with engineers, program analysts, logisticians, contracts personnel, and other stakeholders to collect, verify and integrate technical content. Develop presentations, briefs, and milestone review material for program leadership. Resolve process deficiencies, gives technical guidance, trains support team members, and directly supports the IPTL. Education Requirements
BS/BA degree or sufficient supplemental experience is required.
