A Project Engineer is a technical contributor to the Product Development process who identifies and executes design activities for industrial generators to resolve issues and meet business targets. Industrial generators help keep people alive and healthy, keep lines of communication open, keep critical data secure, and support many other functions across the world. Why You Will Love this Job
A Project Engineer will contribute to design and execution within the Product Development process to support industrial generator programs and ensure alignment with business targets. Responsibilities
Complete mechanical engineering tasks for assigned projects of moderate scope Produce technical details and specifications to solve engineering problems Assure functional acceptability of designs through engineering tools, analysis, and testing Use systematic problem solving techniques to arrive at alternative solutions and make fact-based recommendations Contribute to high-level business strategy Work frequently with cross-functional teams Qualifications
Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering 2 to 4 years' experience working as an engineer. Background in product development, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering is common for successful candidates. Demonstrated experience in complex machine and system design Experience with tools such as 3D CAD, engineering calculation software, and MS Office Reliable self-starter with ability to work multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively Specific Responsibilities
Executes projects to support cost targets, warranty targets, and sourcing and manufacturing strategies Resolves design issues for customers and manufacturing Builds engineering experience through mentorship, hands-on work, technical analysis, and testing Performs projects and tasks for technical assignments of moderate scope and complexity under general direction Assumes a high level of autonomy in decision-making and day-to-day activities Provides technical direction and design intent to CAD Analysts Salary
The salary range for this position is $83,300.00–$105,200.00. The specific salary offered may be influenced by experience, education, and work location. About Us
