Overview

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Network Administrator to provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT networks. This role supports day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for the network architecture and devices. What You'll Get to Do

Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems Provide support for escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving applications, operating systems, hardware, and the communications infrastructure Troubleshoot, maintain integrity and configure network components; implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including transition and migration of corporate systems Support hardware infrastructure site surveys, planning and design Provide transition planning and support services to accelerate delivery timelines, reduce operational risk and ensure service continuity during transition Provide transition planning and support for migration of existing services between environments (cloud migrations), migration of users from existing service platforms to new service offerings and transition of services into operations Provide guidance to lower level technicians and specialists Work independently and actively participate on integrated teams Understand and apply advanced concepts and processes to daily activities Assist more senior technicians, specialists, and managers; can perform all tasks of lower level technicians or specialists Provide O&S of LAN/WAN services with expanded 24x7 on-site and 12x5 service support during core hours; on-call with two-hour response time during non-core hours Provide manhole maintenance and repair services of outside plant cabling on a standard 8x5 service level Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field An active security clearance 4+ years' experience working as a Network Administrator DoD 8140.01 and 8570.01-M, IAT II required Plans, builds, and installs cable patch panels and cable infrastructures Installs and terminates all types of standard IT cable and fiber Manage IT network infrastructure and related processes Makes recommendations on hardware, cabling, and equipment requirements Provides installation management, including materials lists, BOMs, timelines, team requirements, and project documentation Provides equipment rack installation and equipment installations in data centers, equipment rooms, communications closets, operations centers, and user workspaces Nice to Have

Experience with 802.11 wireless technologies (802.11ac/802.11ax) Experience with Cisco/Meraki/Juniper/Aruba wireless and management platforms Knowledge of WLAN design and benchmarking software What’s in It for You?
