Objective: Providing a safe, clean Aquatic area for our members.
Reports to: Aquatic Manager (AM)
Qualifications
Life Guard Certification
CPR and AED Certification
Proficient oral, written, and technology communication (email/text) skills
Responsibilities
As an AFF team member, responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage member engagement and support; contribute to member growth, retention, and club profitability in alignment with the company Mission, Vision, Pillars of Success, Service Standards, and Business philosophy.
Provide the highest quality of customer service by greeting members with a welcoming, friendly, energetic, and positive attitude; use members\' names whenever possible.
Embrace and follow the AFF Service Standards, Training and Policy Manuals, and any applicable department handbooks.
Know the club\'s emergency response protocol and be prepared to act with safety as a priority.
Arrive to work 10 minutes early; wear department-specific uniform.
Participate in department and club meetings; be a team player.
Maintain open and honest communication with the team to support shared goals.
Responsibilities — Pool Monitor
Align with company and industry Life Guard guidelines for a safe environment.
Stay current with AFF-approved certifications, including CPR/AED and specialty certifications; provide current copies to the AM.
Enforce the rules of the aquatic area while delivering excellent customer service and a fun, safe experience for members.
Test and record pool chemistry; report problems to management.
Provide appropriate instruction and a safe environment for organized pool activities.
Inform the AM of any equipment needs or malfunctions.
Wear appropriate, safe attire.
Perform other duties as reasonably assigned.
