CAMWORKS PROGRAMMER
The CAMWORKS Programmer role at Decimal Engineering is expected to have a comprehensive understanding of all CNC machining and programming operations. This role is tasked with working in close concert with machinists, leads, engineering teams, and machining operations management to increase productivity and optimize machining programs and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use CAD/CAM software to program multi-axis mill-turn machines
Use 3rd party verification software to validate files generated before releasing to the shop floor
Select optimal tooling and cutting speeds; feed for materials such as aluminum, copper, stainless steel, titanium, and Cold Rolled Steel.
Design work holding for production processes
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
3+ years of CNC programming experience using Solidworks & CamWorks software
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of CNC programming experience using Solidworks & CamWorks software
Experience with multi-axis mill and lathe CNC machines
