Overview
Cyber Security Operations Specialist – CSOC (Tiers 1, 2, 3) - Full time, TS/SCI clearance required to start. Employee Type: Regular. Travel up to 10% (local).
CACI's Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS) program is actively hiring TS/SCI cleared Cyber Security Operations Specialists to join our CSOC Tiered Services team. These positions can be based out of Springfield, VA or St. Louis, MO. TCS supports the National Geospatial‑Intelligence Agency's (NGA) GEOINT mission on a long‑term CACI prime contract. Our team designs, develops, procures, implements, operates, sustains, and enhances NGA networks and cybersecurity posture in support of national security.
What You'll Do
Provide CSOC Tiered Services with 24x7x365 coordination, execution, and implementation of actions required for containment, eradication, and recovery for events and incidents.
CSOC Tier 1: record, investigate, and process events received via walk‑ups, phone, email, chat, web, cybersecurity tools, and enterprise tools. DoD 8570 IAT Level II required (current); must be able to obtain/maintain CSSP Analyst certification within 120 days of start date.
CSOC Tier 2: malware and implant analysis, and forensic artifact handling and analysis. When not in incident response, conduct continuous exercises and dry runs to improve response outcomes. DoD 8570 IAT Level II required (current); must be able to obtain/maintain CSSP Analyst certification within 120 days of start date.
CSOC Tier 3: incident handling/incident response, malware analysis and signature development, and forensic artifact handling and analysis. DoD 8570 IAT Level III required (current); must be able to obtain/maintain CSSP Incident Responder certification within 120 days of start date.
Qualifications
TS/SCI (current) with the ability to successfully pass/maintain a Government Polygraph (post‑hire).
BA/BS Degree and typically between two (2) to six (6) years of relative work experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Ability to work one or more of five work shifts.
Knowledge of TCP/IP, protocol analyzers, network protocols, Cyber Attack Lifecycle, Mitre ATT&CK framework, obfuscation techniques (base64; rot13; XOR; URL encoding; etc.), and using SIEM for event analysis.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including geographic location, contract wage rates, prior experience, specific skills, education, and certifications. We offer a competitive compensation package including benefits and learning opportunities.
This position can be worked in more than one location; the range shown is the national average for the position. The proposed salary range for this position is: $75,200–$158,100.
