The Senior Data Engineer drives innovative data solutions that support Empower’s mission to expand access to quality, affordable medications. Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions Foster collaboration and continuous learning Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Serverless technologies Relational and non-relational database experience Data modeling Data warehousing Proficiency in programming Expertise with data transformation Visual reporting tools experience Customer focus: Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions Optimizes work processes: Know the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement Collaborates: Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Resourcefulness: Secures and deploys resources effectively and efficiently Manages complexity: Makes sense of complex, high-quality, and sometimes contradictory information to solve problems Ensures accountability: Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments and objectives Situational adaptability: Adapts approach and demeanor to match shifting demands of different situations Communicates effectively: Delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the needs of different audiences Values

At least 8 years of experience in a Data Engineering role Dimensional and relational data modeling experience Education
Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field Preferred certifications include AWS Data Engineering, AWS Data Analytics, Data Vault 2, Snowflake, and expertise in Kimball and Inmon Data Modeling methodologies Candidates must meet the required years of experience at scale with one or more of the listed technologies Candidates must meet the required years of experience at scale with one or more of the listed technologies.
