Essential Duties

Team: Embody La Farm values through action, example, and communication: Exceed

Customer Service: Ensure and exude world-class customer service and demonstrate urgency to serve every customer.

Product Quality: Actively demonstrate product quality and pride through use of freshest ingredients, consistent recipe execution, and appealing plating and presentation to La Farm standards.

Other Essential Duties

Operations Systems & Procedures

Prepare customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Follow La Farm systems and recipes when building prep ingredients and customer orders.

Process monitor data for orders accurately and efficiently to execute ticket time goals.

Safely and properly use turbo chef, stove, and other equipment for café menu items.

Merchandise to La Farm standards, properly signed products, samples, and store packaging and labeling.

Create catering platters based on daily special orders.

Perform proper rotation and quality control.

Complete daily checklists, logs, build cards and production sheets.

Demonstrate proper opening and closing procedures.

Contribute to an overall positive and collaborative environment.

Answer the phone to La Farm standards.

Communicate with team about orders up, product no longer available, etc.

Assist runners as needed with delivering food to customers.

Ensure overall unit safety and sanitation goals and policies.

Maintain grade “A” or better by beating health and sanitation inspection standards.

Uphold company standards and policies for opening/closing.

Ensure safe working conditions and comply with all laws.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience in culinary field, prep and/or line work experience required.

Knowledge of weights, volume, and cooking procedures.

High proficiency at reading recipes and build cards.

High attention to detail.

Exceptional customer service skills.

Ability to solve business related problems quickly and efficiently.

Great relationship building skills and demonstrated positive demeanor as a team player.

Ability to work in fast paced environment and multitask.

Flexibility required: Weekends required, holiday work required, two days off (not consecutive).

Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.

Multi-lingual a plus.

Essential Physical Demands

Must be able to work effectively in a confined area.

Ability to bend and lift 50 lbs.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Continuous use of hands and arms.

Continuous bending, reaching, and twisting.
