Description Leidos has an exciting opportunity for an

Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

employee to join our team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) in

Port Hueneme, CA . Primary Responsibilities:

Assist in the cybersecurity tasking for the Special Security Office (SSO) program under NSWC Port Hueneme Division (PHD) cognizance. Assist with Shore-based Information Technology (IT) infrastructure operations and command functions, including facilities, finance, and staff administration support. Assist in the program management of cyber-related tasking, monitoring, and reporting requirements. Support internal cyber and management operations, including staff briefings, teleconferences, program/project evaluation, and project management assistance. Aid in developing and documenting classified network requirements, system security controls, audit readiness, security processes, and compliance with evolving DoD cybersecurity directives. Provide certification and accreditation (C&A) technical support and authorization to operate (ATO) services in accordance with DoD 8510.01 Risk Management Framework (RMF). Support IA technical integration for certification and accreditation to ensure proper system and application accreditation. Basic Qualifications:

Active DoD

TS/SCI clearance . DoD 8570 IAT level II or higher certification

such as Security+, SSCP, or GSEC. Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or additional trainings/certifications in lieu of a degree. 3+ years of cybersecurity experience. Experience with vulnerability scans using ACAS and STIG assessment tools. Familiarity with DoD, DISA, NNWC, FCC, DoDIIS tools, systems, and certification and accreditation requirements. Experience developing security documentation like security plans, risk assessments, and POA&Ms. Strong communication skills and ability to produce detailed technical reports. Preferred Qualifications:

DoD 8570 IAM certification such as CISSP or CISM. Knowledge of CNSS, NIST 800 series, JSIG, DJSIG. Proficiency with malware prevention tools like HBSS or Defender. Experience with SIEM systems.
