mission-driven Institutional Giving Manager

to help us grow our impact. This is your opportunity to become a key voice in advancing our mission—connecting businesses, foundations, faith-based organizations, and community groups to meaningful, measurable work that transforms lives. Key Responsibilities Institutional Fundraising & Relationship Management (50%) Lead and grow a robust portfolio of grants and partnerships from corporations, foundations, and community organizations. Develop compelling proposals, appeals, and donor communications. Support special events and campaigns, including corporate sponsorships and logistics. Strategic Planning & Coordination (20%) Collaborate on setting annual and long-range funding goals. Maintain a detailed calendar of grant deadlines and reporting schedules. Coordinate closely with Finance, Programs, and the Development Team. Prospect Research & Outreach (20%) Identify new funding sources and create tailored engagement plans. Use research tools such as GrantStation and Foundation Directory to track opportunities. Work with board members and leadership to grow institutional support. Communications & Stewardship (10%) Prepare presentations, coordinate site visits, and communicate with funders. Assist with writing/editing communications and development materials. What We're Looking For Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Minimum 4 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, or institutional giving. Proven success building relationships with institutional donors. Skills & Knowledge: Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders—board members, donors, and residents alike. Understanding of HIV/AIDS-related issues and nonprofit development strategies. Familiarity with donor databases (Sage FR50 a plus). Additional Requirements: Access to reliable transportation for meetings and events. Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
