Job Description Senior Network Engineer responsible for managing, monitoring, maintaining, documenting, and configuring the enterprise LAN/WAN/VPN. The role supports corporate initiatives to maintain a robust, modern global network and requires creative problem solving in a multifaceted environment.
How You’ll Add Value Manage, monitor, maintain and document our enterprise network infrastructure; contribute to global networking initiatives; collaborate with teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
What You’ll Do
Provide production support, architecture, lifecycle management, configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and network appliances in a global enterprise environment.
Complete documentation and cross-training; work with other teams to resolve issues and deliver solutions.
Respond to network-related incidents, service requests and project tasks.
Plan, order, and implement LAN/WAN/Wireless equipment.
Monitor and troubleshoot requests, problems and outages with vendors and in-house resources; mentor other IT staff.
Provide solid understanding of secure network architecture.
Work with Cisco & Meraki products (routers, switches, wireless, firewalls).
Work with Palo Alto products (firewalls) and AWS (VPN, VPC, Route53, Security Groups).
Build, upgrade, and configure system components; create technical documentation (diagrams, test plans, requirements).
Collaborate with outside vendors for planning and installation of data/voice networks.
What You Will Bring Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or certifications.
6-8+ years of relevant, in-depth technical knowledge related to platform-specific systems and/or network operations.
Experience in LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VLAN, EIGRP, OSPF, VPNs, MPLS, NAT, QoS and SSL.
Experience supporting an enterprise infrastructure and configuring enterprise-grade network equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with personnel at all levels.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with Network Performance Monitoring Tools.
Project management experience.
Technical expertise with: Cisco (CatOS, IOS), Meraki (switches, wireless, firewalls), Palo Alto firewalls, Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN, AWS networking (DNS/DHCP, connectivity), and DNS/DHCP concepts.
6-8+ years’ experience in network design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting.
Technical certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDA, PCNSA, PCNSE) and related degree preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to adapt in growing and dynamic environments.
Working Conditions / Schedule
Site-based role at one of our main US sites (South Plainfield, NJ; Burlington, MA; or Indianapolis, IN) with a hybrid schedule.
Occasional travel expected (approximately 20%).

United States Base Compensation: $122,000.00 - $152,000.00. The posted pay range is an estimate based on market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary based on experience, education, certifications, performance, and location.
