Network Access Control Security Specialist

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role: As a Network Access Control Security Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Providing technical expertise for Network Access Control (NAC) Infrastructure Providing NAC performance and load testing and upgrades Developing NAC policies in alignment with business and security requirements NAC deployment to sites around the world NAC infrastructure implementation Performing support operations, with a schedule that may involve nontraditional working hours Contributing to overall NAC process improvements and documentation Responsible for the operation, performance, availability, and capacity of the NAC Expanding existing NAC solution capabilities, ensuring consistency across all regions of the world Collaborating with team members as well as other business functions, partners, management, vendors, and external parties for information gathering and best practice recommendations Your Skills And Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Associate’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start). Five (5) years of information security experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed include: Experience with Network Access Control Experience in architecting, implementing, and managing NAC technologies Experience in networking design and concepts including TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, virtual routing and forwarding, and VLANs Strong understanding of network security products Experience administering Linux operating systems Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) constructs Strong analytical skills Working knowledge of secure communication methods Programming and/or scripting skills Industry-adopted security certification (e.g., CISSP, CCNA) Strong IT infrastructure implementation, support and troubleshooting background Work Location
