We are currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support clients across MA and CT. The position can be located in any of our 14 offices throughout these states.

The Commercial Lines Account Manager will provide expertise in service, marketing, and placement of Commercial Lines accounts. Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with clients, carriers, and brokers, and supporting the Commercial Lines Manager.

Essential Duties May Include:

Processing applications and loss summaries, making price recommendations, and ensuring accuracy and timely policy delivery.

Staying current on forms, coverage changes, and sales techniques through various educational resources.

Performing risk analysis surveys for Commercial accounts to facilitate proposal preparation.

Meeting standards for new business solicitation, ex-dating, and client service.

Acting as a liaison between clients and carriers for complex service issues.

Developing new business and proposals to meet or exceed production goals.

Renewing existing business and identifying cross-selling opportunities.

Monitoring leads and expiration dates, promoting carrier products.

Performing other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:

At least three years of Commercial Lines insurance experience, preferably with small to mid-market clients.

Equivalent experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Finance, or Marketing.

Current MA or CT Property & Casualty License or willingness to obtain within 90 days.

Knowledge of Commercial quoting and remarketing.

Understanding of insurance forms, coverage, and rating.

Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Agency Management Systems; experience with Applied’s EPIC is a plus.
