What You’ll Do
Design and develop scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and integration of large data sets
Build and optimize data architectures and lakehouse/data warehouse solutions on Azure, GCP, or AWS
Implement and manage cloud-based ETL/ELT workflows using services such as Azure Data Factory or GCP Dataflow
Ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity through testing, validation, and monitoring
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
Automate data workflows and infrastructure using scripting and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues
What You’ll Bring
BS Degree and 3+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in a professional setting
Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Postgres
Proficiency with data build tool (dbt)

Compensation And Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the pay range is $55/HR to $85/HR. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
