Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract job in Plano, Texas. Ideally, looking for someone who has 5+ years of experience managing large, complex, and transformative programs and projects such as software development, data center migrations, or cloud computing strategies. Rate Range:
$95/hour -$99/hour on W2; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities
The work you will do varies depending on the project, as well as your capabilities and experience. Project Managers are critical contributors to our team, and handle a combination of: Driving project scoping definition, schedule planning, budgeting and tracking, working in Smartsheet, managing all aspects of meetings and deadlines scheduling and deliverables, and leading high-performance project teams. Manage projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints, and build strong relationships with Global Cybersecurity partners and project teams in IT and in the BUs. Manage project scope by ensuring any changes are documented and approved through the established change control process. Track and report on project milestones and provide weekly status report updates to the Cybersecurity team and leadership. Continually seek opportunities to increase client satisfaction and strengthen relationships. Required Skills
BS degree in a related technical field. 5+ years of experience managing large, complex, and transformative programs and projects such as software development, data center migrations, or cloud computing strategies. PMP certification and prior experience in professional services working with enterprise clients are a plus. In-depth experience with key practices, processes, and methodologies applicable to project management. Strong business acumen, with experience working in a variety of industries and business areas. Must have demonstrated aptitude to understand a variety of technical domains and strategies regarding opportunities, challenges, risks, and business impact.
