Microsoft Dynamics Finance Functional Analyst with proven experience across the full Microsoft Dynamics application, emphasizing General Ledger, Purchasing and Contract Management, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Budgeting and Grant Accounting. Collaborate with multiple teams composed of technical and business analysts to provide support and lead the team to utilize Microsoft Dynamics to its full capacity. Define requirements based on current functionality and SME knowledge; map requirements to test scripts and validate current functionality against business processes and test scenarios. Work with technical resources to map functional design to technical design. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties are not necessarily exhaustive and may be assigned as needed. Manage records created and received in compliance with Hampton Roads Transit Records Management Policy and Procedures. Maintain general awareness of HRT's EMS. Handle responsibilities in accordance with HRT's Environmental Policy, EMS SOPs, and Emergency Management Plan. Provide On-going Support Functional liaison with the IT team for issues or enhancements; work with users to provide functional specifications and system testing of patches and enhancements. Provide daily user support and troubleshooting of issues. Collaborate with functional users to ensure continuous effective use of the system, including adoption of additional delivered functionality. Gather and document requirements to apply system solutions to business problems; provide power user support in creation of custom forms and reports. Lead knowledge sharing to develop functional skills; assist in managing stakeholder change requests; develop change request business cases with problem definition, options, cost/benefit analysis, and recommendations. Provide ongoing internal training as needed; participate in requirement work for RFPs and evaluation of proposals. Perform other functional analyst support duties as needed. Periodic formal system reviews for effective utilization and productivity improvements; identify and document business process challenges and opportunities for re-engineering existing and future modules and processes. Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills

Understanding of relational database principles. Expertise in business requirements, processes and implementation approaches for four or more Microsoft Dynamics modules: General Ledger, Purchasing and Contract Management, Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Budgeting and Grant Accounting. Proficiency creating and updating custom reports using Management Reporter, BI Cubes, SQL Server Report Builder and related tools; experience modifying forms and creating new custom forms with SSRS. Working knowledge of project management principles; advanced knowledge of automated testing procedures, data conversion analyses, transaction processing and troubleshooting. Ability to QA test development work and work with the development team to meet customer requirements; strong writing skills to create functional specifications, design documents, training materials, test scripts, etc. Strong communication, problem solving, and leadership abilities; experience with KPI-based reporting and configuring financial statements. Willing to lead the development of functional skills through knowledge sharing. Required Software Knowledge and Skills

Proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Project, Visio or similar flowcharting software). Advanced knowledge of SQL for data review, troubleshooting and validating source data. Qualifications

BA/BS in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Combined minimum of 5 years of operational and implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations (AX2012 and/or D365). 8+ years ERP system implementation experience; 2+ full Microsoft Dynamics SDLC implementations; 2+ years as Financials Functional Lead on 2+ implementation/upgrade projects. Minimum 8 years in a functional/business analyst role supporting financial systems; experience with workflow approvals and KPI-based reporting. Nice to Have: Experience with a Transit agency. Licenses or Certificates
