Who you are

Experience as a Software Engineer with knowledge assisting in the design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions, with a focus on Linux and Unix operating systems. Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and analytics development.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with other senior engineers on the development of advanced data analytics solutions.

Contribute to agile development projects in support of a high-visibility mission.

Assist in design, development, testing, and debugging of software solutions on Linux/Unix platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 7 years of professional experience.

TS/SCI FSP clearance.

Back End Developer experience or equivalent role.

Desired Skills

Design, develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Java.

Build and manage RESTful APIs and backend services deployed on AWS (e.g., ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3).

Implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Collaborate with DevOps, frontend, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK.

Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports various alternate work schedules. Schedules may be standard 40 hours over five days or condensed, providing additional time away from the office. These schedules are in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

9x80 every other Friday off.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For other locations, the salary range will reflect the candidate’s final work location. This is a guideline; offers consider experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
