Windows Systems Engineer (TS Clearance Required)

Overview
North Point Technology is seeking a Windows Systems Engineer with a TS clearance to support cloud-based systems powering mission-critical operations. The Spatial Solutions team manages, operates, and sustains multiple geospatial solutions deployed in the cloud. We are looking for a self-starter with experience in installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of cloud-based systems and Citrix-based desktops in cloud environments. This role supports national security missions. Responsibilities
Take a leadership role in driving system changes and improvements. Work directly with government and contractor POCs to troubleshoot and resolve complex incident reports (INCs). Proactively recommend configuration changes that enhance performance and reliability. Deploy security patches and bug fixes to test and operational environments. Update and maintain critical databases with new data. Develop and update operational and security documentation, including troubleshooting guides and SOPs. Ensure system stability and reliability. Required Skills/Experience
BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Active Top Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain SCI post-hire. DOD 8570 Certification (Security+ or higher). Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Windows administration. Hands-on experience completing security remediation tasks following security scans. Citrix administration experience. Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Architecture, Software Development, and Sustainment practices. Proficiency with software development or integration projects in cloud, SOA, web services, or virtualization environments. Familiarity with AWS architectures and technologies (S3 Buckets, EC2, etc.). Experience with Git/GitLab or other version control tools. Experience creating Systems Engineering documentation (VDDs, diagrams, etc.). Familiar with Jira and Confluence for team collaboration. Willingness to take on additional tasks as assigned. Preferred Skills/Experience
Prior experience providing systems engineering support for geospatial products. Citrix certification(s). AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, DevOps Engineer, etc.). SAFe Agile Certification. Employment details
