Sr. Electrical & Automation Manager
to join our team at the
world’s largest frozen pizza plant—home to our iconic Red Baron and Tony’s brands—in Salina, KS . In this leadership role, you will drive innovation and efficiency by leading the support and execution of automation and control projects across the facility, from concept to completion, ensuring operations are cutting-edge, reliable, and ready to deliver the best pizza to millions of customers. Responsibilities
Direct electrical maintenance and controls department across a 1.2 million square foot campus. Lead and manage multiple complex automation projects from design through implementation. Oversee plant automation controls team and support power distribution, networks, and operating systems. Develop an electrical inspection, testing, and maintenance program for the campus. Lead, mentor and develop subordinates/maintenance personnel on control systems and automation functionality. Develop capital plans, budgets, and project schedules for automation initiatives. Implement, document, and support MES, Data Historian, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems. Design, scale, and test automation processes, equipment, and instrumentation. Manage hardware and electrical maintenance field experience (e.g., troubleshooting sensor installation, conduit installation, VFDs, motor, etc.). Direct scheduling and work execution for controls/electrical teams, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of control devices. Prepare project documentation, reports, and communication on status, progress, and accountability. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred) with 5–8 years of relevant experience. Experience managing direct and indirect reports of salaried and hourly team members. Experience with 4-20 mA, 120V, 220V, 480V, 4160V, 13.4kV, 35.4kV electrical services and equipment. Hands-on experience programming and implementing industrial control systems, including PLC/HMI (Rockwell, Modicon, Siemens, GE, Fanuc). Strong technical problem-solving skills with proven project management experience. Knowledge of control system components, ladder logic, HMI programming, instrumentation, and controls design. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization. Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $117,750 to $196,250 annually with eligibility for a 20% annual incentive bonus, based on organizational performance. The pay range reflects factors including education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography, etc. Starting pay may fall anywhere within the stated range for the successful candidate(s). Beyond base salary, we offer a competitive Total Rewards package focusing on overall well-being, including health benefits, retirement and financial wellbeing, time off programs, and wellbeing support programs.
