Overview
Full-Stack Software Engineer, AVP - Investor Portal – New York. Blackstone is the world’s largest alternative asset manager. The role focuses on expanding Blackstone’s Investor Portal team. You will work with engineers on front-end applications, RESTful APIs, serverless services in AWS, and CI/CD pipelines, aligning with Blackstone’s SDLC standards.
Responsibilities
Design and implement front-end and back-end software solutions using C#/.NET, TypeScript/React, and cloud-native components running in AWS.
Proactively seek opportunities to enhance and consolidate the system.
Document technical changes to the system.
Implement observability to track performance and alert on issues.
Enforce code quality through code reviews.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines and use DevOps tools such as Terraform and Jenkins.
Collaborate with Product teams to collect and refine business requirements.
Assist App Support with reporting and troubleshooting.
Participate in Agile ceremonies.
Mandatory Skills
At least 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a Software Developer.
Experience building front-end applications using TypeScript and React.
Experience with C# and the .NET Core platform.
Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from analysis to implementation and release.
Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, and S3 (or equivalents on other clouds).
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Experience with Docker and containers is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab Runners, Jenkins, and Terraform is a plus.
Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and maintain existing systems.
Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and grow competencies.

Compensation Expected annual base salary range: $128,000 - $200,000. Actual base salary will be determined by factors including experience, skills, qualifications, and location. For roles outside the US, salary bands may differ due to local market practices. Additional compensation and benefits are offered with the role.
