ENERCON is seeking a Project Engineer to support Power Uprate initiatives within our Nuclear Services Group. This is a high-visibility role where your work will directly contribute to increasing reactor output and optimizing performance at nuclear facilities across the country. As a Project Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of planning and executing complex engineering tasks that drive energy efficiency and reliability. Responsibilities

Lead strategic discussions, align your team to ensure quality and deadlines are met, and keep clients informed and engaged. Dive into problem-solving, manage budgets, refine proposals, and identify new opportunities while motivating your team to turn challenges into wins. Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and serve as a technical leader to ensure project solutions and quality goals are met. Manage client interactions and negotiate/control project scope to client and company satisfaction. Foster and maintain working relations with assigned clients and act as a single point of contact for assigned projects. Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to established schedules and within budget. Understand project schedules, management plans, and manage project staff to meet requirements; develop detailed project reports and monitor financial performance. Develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals and support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities and follow-up.

Qualifications

Design engineering experience with modification and implementation processes, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities Minimum of 6 years\' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an engineer or project manager Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years\' applicable experience PE license strongly preferred Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs

Pay Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
