Overview
Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer - Mechanical for the Nuclear Services Group. You will develop winning engineering proposals with technical staff, execute projects within budget and schedule constraints, and maintain robust client relationships. You will oversee project schedules, financials, and reporting while actively supporting marketing efforts to propel business growth. This role can sit at any of our nuclear office locations, including but not limited to: Kennesaw, GA (Suburb of Atlanta) Overland Park, KS Birmingham, AL Naperville, IL Remote will be considered for candidates with 10+ years in nuclear design Responsibilities
Leadership & Coordination: Provide interdisciplinary coordination for design engineering projects and act as a technical leader to meet project quality goals. Manage client interactions and negotiate/scope the project to the client’s and company’s satisfaction. Foster and maintain relationships with assigned clients and act as the single point of contact for assigned projects. Project Management Excellence: Plan, execute, and finalize projects on schedule and within budget. Manage project staff to meet requirements, develop detailed project reports, and report regularly on financial status and overall project performance. Strategic Growth & Innovation: Work with technical staff to develop winning, highly technical engineering proposals. Support marketing efforts, including identification of new opportunities, proposal preparation, and follow-up. Qualifications
Design engineering experience with modification and implementation processes, calculations, specifications, etc. in power facilities. Minimum of 6 years' experience in the nuclear, power, or industrial industries as an engineer or project manager. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Nuclear or Chemical Engineering (or related) OR PMP Certification and 10 years' applicable experience. Ability to understand and work with budget and accounting processes. Excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills. Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to work across disciplines and teams. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to gain and maintain unescorted access at nuclear sites. Ability to travel between 10-15% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks. Pay Range
