Benesch . Our North Carolina Division is seeking to hire a Civil Engineer Project Manager. This is an experienced position involving challenging assignments with growth opportunities. The ideal candidate must be a Seller/Doer with strong management and design skills, and the ability to develop and communicate design concepts from the Client to Designers and Engineers to ensure project delivery. This is a management role overseeing production staff with experience in land development design and engineering. The Project Manager will see the project through from scope to final design and assist the construction administration team as required. Location : This position can join any of our North Carolina offices and is expected to come into the office at least 3 days a week. Responsibilities

Coordinate activities with Sr. Project Managers, Group Manager, and Division Manager Business Development and Marketing, including networking, preparation of SOQs, proposals, and contracts Manage design consultants and clients Develop concepts or schematic designs, including layout, grading, hydrology, and utilities Research local/state regulations as they pertain to site planning Research non-routine code issues and obtain interpretations from code officials Incorporate design concepts from schematic design into design development and produce construction documents Opportunity for quick growth into a Group Manager position for the right candidate What You Will Need

12+ years of industry experience B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Licensed PE in the state of NC Excellent communication and client relation skills; experience interacting with clients, agencies, and stakeholders Understanding of applicable codes Experience in project management, including design cost control, budget control, and QA/QC Able to manage staff individually and as teams Experience with public agencies, private entities, and/or municipalities Site development design experience and best practices Strong organization and leadership skills; team-oriented mindset Benefits & Culture
