Network Operations role at Koniag Government Services. Tuknik Government Services LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Network Operations Analyst to support TGS and our government customer in Kansas City, MO. Job location: 601 East 12th Street Kansas City MO 64106. Schedule: M-F 6am-6pm CST (flexible shift). Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day operations necessary for effective hardware operation, including daily database initialization, monitoring health of client/server equipment, and data flow through Outlook/Exchange, database, storage and the PDC servers. Perform daily checks on overnight hardware functionality and troubleshoot as necessary. Provide troubleshooting to isolate workstation or server connectivity issues and hardware problems in a multiple domain environment. Provide problem analysis for hardware within the ROCC infrastructure and coordinate activities for problem resolution. Perform activities to resolve hardware problems. Limited travel may be required. Install and/or reinstall Agency approved software on multiple platform disciplines resident in the ROCC. Perform software application troubleshooting on all Agency-standard software. Oversee day-to-day software operation and coordinate prompt and appropriate problem resolution. Provide troubleshooting to isolate workstation or server connectivity issues and software application problems in a multiple domain environment. Perform activities to resolve software problems. Limited travel may be required. Provide support and problem resolution for Microsoft Windows server and workstation in multiple domain structures. Use Microsoft Administration utilities such as Server Manager, User Manager and Performance Monitor. Suggest proactive problem resolution and contribute to continuous improvement of daily operations using network management utilities (e.g., SMS). Logically resolve problems in the client/server area using TCP/IP protocols (PING, TRACERT, TELNET, etc.). Qualifications

Education And/or Experience

BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Services or comparable discipline required or demonstrated success with equivalent work experience. Equivalent combination of knowledge and specialized experience may be acceptable in lieu of a degree. Government contract may require proof of U.S. citizenship. Active CCNA and Network+ Certification. Knowledge

Candidates must possess extensive knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, MS Exchange Email, Active Directory, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP protocols and applications, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, and Cisco IOS (CLI); familiarity with Data Protection Manager 2012, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V), Unix systems operation and Oracle database operation, EMC and Hitachi storage arrays. Experience in a large routed/switched/Ethernet network using Cisco equipment; general Windows administration. Clearance
