At Imperial, we sell, distribute, and service General Merchandise, Seasonal Products, and Health/Beauty/Wellness Products to our customers. Support Production Leadership to ensure that the material handling flow and batch integrity are within compliance. Essential Responsibilities And Duties Include
Clear blue lights in assigned area/pick module. Monitor and arrange low batches to the front of the zones in assigned area. Promptly communicate any jams or flow issues in their respective area to leadership. Promptly communicate any lack of available work or excess staff in their respective area to leadership. Assists in Induction/tote prep (labeling, loading conveyor belt, etc). Pull totes off conveyor belt on 3rd floor or wherever assigned, when assigned. Picks low batches in zone. Collects stray UFO/Damage items and brings them to appropriate receptacle. Other duties/tasks as assigned. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Basic computer skills – able to use a login and password and follow simple instructions. Some warehouse experience preferred but not required. Ability to read a limited number of two and three syllable words and to recognize similarities and difference between words and between series of numbers. Ability to speak and understand in simple English. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s. Correctly hear and follow instructions from a voice headset, or read instructions from a scanner, computer or paper sheet. Ability to read alpha and numerical codes. Physical Demands
Regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally sit; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Continuously perform repetitive physical tasks involving frequent walking, reaching, bending, lifting, twisting, pushing/pulling, and standing. Correctly hear instructions from a voice headset, or read instructions from a scanner, computer or paper sheet. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally team lift up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
Regularly works near moving mechanical parts (rollers). The noise level is usually moderate. Exposed to hot/cold weather/air depending on the season; occasionally exposed to dust. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
