Warfare Systems (WS) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. Summary HII’s Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. The program is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required. What You Will Do
Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify systems and networks that deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Evaluate incident response procedures and capabilities. Exploit system and network vulnerabilities and misconfigurations for purposes of gathering data from target or adversary automated information systems or networks and to enable operations and intelligence collection capabilities. Leverage computer networks to disrupt, deny, degrade, or destroy information resident in computers and computer networks, or the computers and networks themselves. What We Are Looking For
2 years relevant experience with a Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with a Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience. CompTIA Security+ required. Prior experience in defense, aerospace, or government contracting. Proficiency with specialized tools or software aligned to the role. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. Active TS w/ SCI required to start. Physical Requirements
May require working in an office, industrial, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
