Hybrid- Cloud Systems Engineer- 744 role at Randstad Digital Americas. Contract Summary
Work with a cross-disciplinary team to automate migrations of customer applications to the cross-cloud hosting infrastructure. In addition to migrations, implement automation of ongoing monitoring of customer environments and internal applications and infrastructure to meet a standard of very high reliability and resilience. Provide a positive and inclusive leadership example for the team of SREs and take ownership of a major portion of the infrastructure. Responsibilities
Run production infrastructure, ensuring sites and applications are available within established SLAs. Improve documentation by explaining the why, not just the what. Influence ideas and solutions within the Infrastructure Department to reduce workload through automation. Implement infrastructure as code and automation across all BHSH infrastructure. Plan infrastructure growth for increased scale and new application(s). Look for opportunities to improve availability and performance by applying learnings from monitoring and observation. Work closely with development/engineering and architecture teams to identify improvements to product reliability, performance, and availability using a data-driven approach. Proactively safeguard infrastructure and deployed applications to stay ahead of security and compliance requirements. Operate and maintain existing container platforms and CI/CD pipelines. Provide emergency response either by being on-call or by reacting to symptoms according to monitoring and escalation when needed. Qualifications
Required: Bachelors Degree or equivalent. 3 years of relevant experience; minimum 3-5 years in SRE, DevOps, Net Ops, or related roles. Required. 5 years of relevant experience; preferred: Net Ops, SRE, AWS, Kubernetes. Benefits & EEO
