Overview
Ellucian Banner Developer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining functional areas of our Ellucian Banner software. This role may require some after-hours or weekend hours during major upgrades or emergency situations.
The salary range for this role is $64K - $79K, negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Directly supervise Banner Support Specialists, Banner Functional Support Specialists, Enterprise System Integrators, and other programming positions.
Delegate projects and workflow of the Banner programming team, and programming work related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the College’s enterprise systems ecosystem.
Collaborate with Ellucian consultants, users, IT teams, and database administrators to develop, research and provide solutions to ensure system stability and efficiency.
Support the maintenance of Ellucian Banner Core Modules and other functions.
Provide support and test remote database administration (DBA).
Provide supplemental training, advice, and information to technical and functional personnel within the college as needed.
Assist in training end-users and creating documentation for Banner processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with Ellucian Banner products required.
Programming and analytical experience supporting computing users in a networked environment.
Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation and the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a collegiate environment.
