AEC Industry - Hiring PE's, EIT's, RA's, and Designers Mechanical Engineer (HVAC/Plumbing) Responsibilities
Designing mechanical and plumbing building systems and details including ductwork, piping, sanitary, domestic water, medical gas, compressed air, natural gas, domestic water heating, and solar water heating. Mentoring and directing the activities of designers; participating in review meetings with clients; documenting existing conditions; conducting field investigations and site visits; performing submittal reviews; and coordinating with other disciplines to create cohesive construction documents. Qualifications
One or more years of experience as a licensed professional. Introductory level knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1, ASHRAE 181.1, ASHRAE 170, ASHRAE 62.1, NFPA 90A, and International Building Codes. Educational Requirements: Five-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET Accredited Engineering Program; NCEES Registration. LEED, CEM, or LC (preferred). Computer skills: Revit, AutoCAD, Trane Trace, Masterworks and/or Masterworks, MS Office Suite. Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
