South of the River company seeking a full-time CNC programmer/machinist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Join a well-established and fast-paced Lakeville company where your team involvement will be valued! CNC Programmer/ CNC Machinist will program, set up, and operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce machined parts that align with quality and safety standards. CNC Programmer/ CNC Machinist will work 1st shift, Monday-Friday, and earn up to $40/hour. Gibbs Cam is kept up to date, and we want you to use it to its full extent. Thinking outside the box is often expected and necessary. Schedule

Monday - Thursday hours: 6 am - 3:30 pm Friday hours: 6 am - 10 am, and enjoy a long weekend every week. We are a company that values your experience and ideas!! If you dislike making the same parts day after day, we are the shop for you. We specialize in low-volume, high-mix production. You will be setting up machines multiple times every day. Air-conditioned shop with a family atmosphere. Quarterly bonus. CNC Programmer/CNC Machinist Qualifications

High School Diploma as well as Degree or Certificate in CNC programming, computer programming, computer-related field, or mechanical field required. Experience with GibbsCAM programming software. Experience programming CNC vertical mills and CNC lathes. Experienced in setup and operation of CNC milling & turning equipment with HAAS controls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in reading and applying blueprints. Attentive to safety procedures. Ability to work in a team environment as a leader but can also work independently with great troubleshooting ability. Highly detail-oriented. Experience with prototypes and short runs.
