What you'll do: Collaborate with teammates to design, build, and improve features that enhance our applications' usability, performance, and reliability. Write clean, testable code in Ruby on Rails and React with TypeScript, learning best practices through code reviews and mentorship. Support debugging, troubleshooting, and QA efforts to ensure smooth deployments. Work with UX designers and product managers to deliver user-friendly solutions. About you: BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred, but not required. Hands-on experience from internships, bootcamps, or open-source projects will also be considered. Some experience with modern web application development (React, Ruby on Rails, or similar). Familiarity with relational databases and basic SQL queries (e.g., PostgreSQL or MySQL). Familiarity with Git and version control workflows (e.g., GitHub or GitLab). Strong communicator and collaborative team player. Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, enhance decision-making, or drive innovation. This position is preferably based in Austin, Texas. Preferred Skills (Nice to have): Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms. Familiarity with service-oriented architectures. Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., RSpec, Jest, or Cypress). Exposure to TypeScript for frontend (React) or backend (NestJS) development. Why 8am:
