Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

in our

Chapel Hill

office, you’ll join a collaborative community where your expertise fuels innovation, your ideas drive progress, and your work helps shape a brighter future for all.

Qualifications

BSME or BSEE (or other engineering discipline with applicable experience).

5+ years of experience in the consulting engineering industry

Experience with communicating with clients, partners and individuals at all levels within an organization.

Professional Engineering License (PE) in one or more states.

Detailed, hands-on knowledge of PLC or DCS control systems.

Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols.

Ability to travel for client meetings, field survey, commissioning, and startup support.

Strong spoken and written communication skills.

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Quick technical comprehension and motivation focused on client outcomes.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Ability to work effectively individually and within team environments.
