Understands user workflows, core functions, and processes of the supported business area, which may include inpatient, ancillary, ambulatory, or revenue cycle. Coordinates with clinical end users and applies knowledge of user workflow to assist users in defining requirements. Designs, configures, tests, troubleshoots and maintains programs/applications. Applies detailed knowledge of system functionality to implement new applications and modules. Documents business requirements, current and future state workflows, and any custom builds as appropriate. Coordinates and participates in all testing phases of associated applications during implementations and upgrades. Researches and resolves issues with external and internal resources as needed. Provides support during go-live events, including during standard off-hours support times. Leads small and medium-sized projects with minimal managerial oversight. Develops key project management tools, including project plans, issues logs, testing plans, and go-live events. Responsible for ongoing on-call duties for incidents outside of business hours. Participates in cross-training for personal development and to ensure adequate secondary coverage on all applications. Minimum Qualifications

Education: Associate’s degree in relevant field. Work Experience: Two (2) years in Healthcare OR One (1) year supporting technology systems. Licensure: None Certification: Epic certified within six (6) months of start date. Work Experience In Lieu of Education: Four (4) years in Healthcare or supporting technology systems. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Strong critical thinking skills. Strong communication skills and professional presence. Ability to maintain composure in stressful office environment. Preferred Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field. Work Experience: Prior experience in Healthcare, or specific areas such as Inpatient, Ancillary, Ambulatory, or Revenue Cycle Operations. Emergency Room, Inpatient experience welcome to apply. Physical Requirements

Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping. Long periods of computer time at workstation. Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined. May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle. Benefits
