The World Wide Technology (WWT) contract role supports a WWT customer as part of Strategic Resourcing services. The candidate will be employed by one of WWT’s preferred partners. Position Overview: Support and develop .NET applications (primarily C# and VB.NET) with Oracle and SQL Server backends, including sustainment and new development for utility-related systems. Key Technologies
C#, VB.NET, .NET Core, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL Server, Unix (basic skills), Oracle WebLogic, ASP.NET (helpful but not primary), Visual Studio, Azure DevOps for source control. Project Work and Experience
Involvement in migration from CGI OMS to Oracle NMS, integration work, and support for a large number of existing Windows-based applications and some web applications (notably an outage watch app). Experience required: preferably 4–10 years of industry experience; able to work independently without extensive handholding, but not at an architect level. Flexible SDLC—mix of sprint-based and ad hoc enhancements; comfortable with both structured and informal processes. Strong problem-solving, willingness to learn, team-oriented, collaborative, and able to handle both support and new development tasks.
