Responsibilities

Approximately 8 years of end-to-end experience in Payments Domain architecture. Deep understanding of payment processing systems including ACH, credit/debit card transactions, and cheque processing. Hands-on experience collaborating with payment processors for settlement and authorization workflows. Preferred experience in re-platforming Payments Manager solutions to native cloud environments. Familiarity with tokenization-based solutioning approaches. Exposure to NACHA standards and compliance requirements. Experience with digital wallet technologies is a plus. Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. Responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of their software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. The software engineer collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Technical Skills

Enterprise Architecture:

Expertise in microservices and event-driven architecture; API-first design principles using REST and GraphQL; proficiency in domain-driven design (DDD); knowledge of integration patterns including ESB and messaging queues. Programming Languages:

Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, Node.js Cloud Platforms:

AWS: Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3; Azure: Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB; GCP: Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions DevOps & CI/CD:

Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, SonarQube Monitoring & Observability:

Datadog, Moogsoft, ELK Stack, Prometheus Middleware & API Gateways:
