Direct Entry Master of Science in Nursing Faculty
Bay Path University is a private comprehensive university with a bold and innovative spirit. Known for its commitment to providing a practical and career-focused education, Bay Path offers a residential bachelors degree for women only on its Longmeadow, Massachusetts campus, as well as bachelors, masters and doctoral programs for both men and women on campuses in East Longmeadow, Boston, Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and online. Under the direction of the Lead Faculty and the Chief Nurse Administrator engages in the duties and responsibilities of as nursing faculty including teaching, advising, grading, preparing syllabi, clinical practicum supervision/teaching, preparing/administering examinations and other associated duties and responsibilities that may be required by the University from time to time. Essential Job Functions: Build and maintain the curriculum from a foundation of core courses into increasing depth and breadth of academic and clinical application. Engage in continuous quality improvement of the DE MSN program through the systematic program evaluation plan at the course, curriculum, and program levels. Teach during the academic year didactic and clinical components of the DE MSN program as assigned. Collaborate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of nursing policies for congruency with university policies-ensuring any differences are justified by nursing program goals and outcomes. Requirements: A MSN degree is required. Earned doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNA, DNP) in nursing or related field required. Current, active, and unencumbered license, as a Registered Nurse in territory of practice required. Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and networking skills. An ability to work in a team environment.
