available in Alexandria beginning August 4, 2025.

Qualifications:
Master of Science in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred
Eligible for membership on undergraduate faculty
Unencumbered RN licensure in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
At least three years of clinical nursing experience
At least three years of nurse educator experience; more preferred
Ability to pass a background check and meet university standards
Responsibilities:
Perform faculty duties within a large nursing education department
Support program expansion in Alexandria and surrounding areas
Teach courses promoting academic excellence and student engagement
Provide instruction in professional and clinical areas
Evaluate student learning outcomes and provide feedback
Serve as a professional role model
Represent the university positively and professionally
Maintain records and documentation
Uphold confidentiality and comply with laws and policies
Participate in policy development and university activities
Maintain office hours and reliable attendance
Advise and mentor students
Engage in activities promoting the College of Nursing, including evenings and weekends
Recruit students and serve as a liaison with other organizations
