Description The Department of Structural and Cellular Biology at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a research track Assistant Professor position in liver disease research. We invite candidates with a strong background in liver disease research pathophysiology to apply. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated record of research excellence in liver research, specifically cholestatic liver disease (alcohol-associated liver disease and metabolic dysfunction associated with liver disease), and will be expected to establish an independent, extramurally funded research program. The position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, access state-of-the-art facilities, and contribute to mechanistic and translational research in liver disease. Qualifications Candidates should have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent in the relevant field. Postdoctoral research experience focused on cholestatic liver disease. Strong publication record in liver research. Commitment to excellence in mentoring and service.
