Overview
The Department of Anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking qualified full-time Anesthesiologist for Baylor St. Luke's & Harris Health/Quentin Mease locations. The role provides high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia services to patients at high acuity levels as part of a dedicated team. Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia and pain care services at all acuity levels and in a variety of settings. Administer all forms of anesthesia including inhaled, intravenous, neuraxial, and regional techniques for surgical or medical procedures. Assess and evaluate patients prior to anesthesia to formulate anesthetic plans. Insert and use invasive and noninvasive monitors as indicated. Respond to emergencies/code situations to provide airway management. Document anesthetic information and patient status. Fulfill call responsibilities as required. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Doctor of Medicine degree with anesthesiology residency. Board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology. Commitment to clinical excellence with a track record of strong clinical performance during residency. Scholarly enthusiasm and commitment to ongoing education.
