Overview
Hard Rock International (HRI) is a globally recognized company with venues in over 70 countries spanning 265 locations that include Rock Shops®, Live Performance Venues and Cafes. Responsibilities
The Host is the initial contact with guests and greets, seats and pages guests to start a positive experience at the front door.
Assumes roles such as tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator and musician (at heart).
Opening doors where applicable; welcoming and thanking guests.
Answering questions accurately and politely; maintaining a clean and organized waiting area.
Answering the phone and directing guests to areas and restrooms.
Providing security for co-workers, guests and celebrities; assisting servers, bussers and managers.
Performing opening, closing and side duties (e.g., cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping and vacuuming, wiping menus, restroom maintenance).
Ensuring the complete satisfaction of each guest and creating memorable experiences and “Raving fans.”
Qualifications EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED
Skills
Ability to remain calm in a hectic, fast-paced environment.
Strong organization, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Positive and outwardly friendly attitude toward guests and co-workers.
Physical Demands
Move throughout the corporate office and cafes; standing, walking, kneeling, bending for extended periods.
Sit for extended periods; repetitive arm, hand and wrist movements.
Express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound; manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 10 pounds; turn or twist body parts; tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals and loud environments.
Ability to travel via auto or airplane for long periods.
Additional Requirements
Maintaining a well-groomed appearance and following all uniform guidelines.
Practicing general safety and sanitation standards; recycling where possible.
Upholding HRC’s five core values and mission statement.
