As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities
Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Provide personalized instruction to individual students and match instruction to their learning styles. Leverage platform features (including our AI-powered Tutor Copilot) to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement tools. Invoicing and payments are handled by Varsity Tutors; you’ll be paid for tutoring sessions you conduct, with payments issued on a regular schedule. Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in AP Italian Language and Culture with the ability to explain concepts clearly. The ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education are preferred. Compensation and Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects, with potential to reach up to $40/hour with the same student. Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions you conduct. Set your own schedule and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote work with no commuting required. How to Connect With Students
