This contract role spans the complete school year (CSY), offering the opportunity to apply expertise in supporting student mental health and academic success. Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs. Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being. Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to stakeholders. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to fostering a supportive learning environment. Assist in crisis intervention and prevention strategies as needed. Qualifications
Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working within K-12 school environments. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a consultant to school staff. Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to special education.
