Overview
Adjunct faculty members will teach courses in Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Sciences at the Touro College of Pharmacy. Applicants with expertise in all areas of Social, Behavioral, and Administrative Sciences are welcome to apply. Curriculum Vitae are retained for 1 year. Applicants whose area of expertise meets the needs of the program will be contacted.
Responsibilities
Teach a minimum of one professional level course. Prepare course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts. Be prompt and accurate in the recording and reporting of student data. Support students’ learning goals by: Focusing on student learning outcomes. Taking into account the needs and abilities of the students. Becoming familiar with academic and social support. Making reasonable provisions to accommodate individual differences. Maintaining the academic integrity of the college. Being available to assist students in achieving their learning goals. Qualifications
Education, Preparation, and Training PharmD and State appropriate professional licensure Residency or Fellowship (Preferred) Minimum 1 year experience post-graduate Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Strong interpersonal skills Strong writing skills Ability to be organized and have attention to detail Ability to prioritize workload Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Physical Demands Able to lift up to 5 lbs. Salary Information Maximum Salary: USD $7,000.00/Sem Minimum Salary: USD $4,000.00/Sem
