Join the University of Florida's College of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor in Pediatric Neurology. This non-tenure track faculty position offers an opportunity to advance your career within our Pediatric Neurology team while making a meaningful impact on children's neurological health. The Division is comprised of 7 faculty members with subspecialty interests including epilepsy, neuromuscular, critical care, neonatal, and autonomic disorders. The Division maintains a vigorous clinical service, a thriving residency program, and diverse research opportunities, with anticipated growth in surgical epilepsy, neonatology, and critical care. There are robust programs in movement disorders, autonomic labs, community outreach, and strong research support. The Division offers broad clinical exposure with opportunities to tailor clinical and research interests as well as scholarship and educational program development. Excellence in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows is highly valued. UF Health-Pediatrics UF Health is the country’s only academic health center with six health-related colleges on a single campus. The colleges, major research centers, institutes, and clinical enterprise focus on collaborative, specialized clinical services centered on quality and innovation. The UF College of Medicine is the largest college within UF’s academic health center and is currently the highest-ranked medical school in Florida. The hospital serves Florida’s children and is a major destination center for complex cases nationally and internationally. It represents the only quaternary-care academic pediatric center in North Florida, with 208 beds and pediatric and neonatal intensive care units. UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital is part of the Children’s Miracle Network alliance. The Department of Pediatrics is committed to innovation and discovery in child health, educating pediatric scientists, and translating research into patient therapies. In the most recent fiscal year, the department supported over $30.5M in sponsored research.
