Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate
School Psychologist
to serve as the sole psychologist for our district, working primarily with a middle school caseload (grades 6-8) of 61 students. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment rich with resources designed to help you succeed.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating closely with educators, parents, and administrators.
Develop and monitor lower-level behavior intervention plans.
Provide consultation and support to staff and families regarding student needs and interventions.
Maintain accurate documentation and case management records.
Engage in ongoing professional development and district initiatives.
Qualifications
Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and developing IEPs for middle school students.
Strong knowledge of federal and state special education laws and regulations (IDEA, Section 504, ADA).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage a sole district psychologist caseload effectively.
