$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr Pizza Cook
— We’re seeking a dependable and skilled pizza cook with experience stretching, topping, and baking pizzas in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, flexible, and takes pride in everything they do, from food prep to deep cleaning. If you thrive in a team-oriented environment and care about quality food, we want to hear from you. Bonus points if you have an interest in sourdough or bread baking and sourcing local and seasonal ingredients. Requirements
Minimum of 1 year of professional kitchen experience Knife skills Ability to lift heavy things regularly (including 50 lb bags of flour) Strong communication skills, flexibility, and a positive team-oriented attitude Works well with others and enjoys both learning and sharing new skills with the team Responsibilities
Station Setup and Prep: Set up and organize the kitchen station before service, ensuring all necessary ingredients, tools, and equipment are ready for use. Prepare ingredients for the day’s menu, including chopping vegetables, making sauces, grating cheeses. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality. Execute Service: Cook pizzas and other menu items efficiently, ensuring each dish is prepared to order and meets the restaurant’s quality standards. Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth, timely service during peak hours. Maintain a high level of focus and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. Assist with other cooking tasks as needed, including preparing salads and appetizers. Clean and Organize: Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment after service. Properly store unused ingredients and follow safety and health guidelines for food storage and handling. Help keep the entire kitchen clean and organized to ensure a safe and pleasant working environment. Compensation
